JAI HO- JAGRUT!



 

24th January 2014, Mumbai :Jagrut”, a social and charitable organization spear headed by the President Mr. Narendra Hirani– social activist, firmly engaged in social welfare activities , once again extends their support to the orphaned and street children of our city.
 

 

Jagrut organized a special screening of JAI HO – starring super star SALMAN KHAN on 24th January 2014 at Globus Cinema, Bandra (W), at 4.30 pm.  250 Orphaned and Street children were present for this special private screening. True to their nature, Smt. Priya Dutt ji (MP) and Super Star Salman Khan mingling and entertained orphaned and street children at this special screening of JAI HO. Gifts and snacks were distributed by them to all the children present for the show.  The sole aim of this show was to bring a smile on each child's face and to motivate them towards a brighter future, just as the protagonist in the movie 'Jai Ho'.





 

This show was a special initiative of Jagrut NGO, who has been striving to brighten the lives through various initiatives in education and healthcare. With this show we kick start our “MAKE THEM SMILE” campaign right from the beginning of the year, and continue throughout the year. It will encourage them to believe that they too can make a difference to the society. It will also bring a social change for their welfare. With the participation of these children from around the city, we hope that the interaction, activities and support of the visitors will enrich them with a beautiful experience. Jagrut not only conducts events but initiates processes that are targeted towards an outcome.

      

     

As for the reaction from the children it was a BIG ‘JAI HO’ for them.
We would like to thank the media and the invitees for making this show a great success. A very special thanks to our guest Smt. Priya Dutt ji (MP) and Superstar Salman Khan for attending the show and making the day a memorable one for all of us and the children.

With Jai Ho Screening, Jagrut launches a “MAKE THEM SIMLE” campaign to bring a smile on thousands of children in India

Jagrut has organized  a very special screening of JAI HO – starring super star SALMAN KHAN on 24th January 2014 at Globus Cinema, Bandra (W), at 4.30 pm. Approximately 250 orphaned and Street children will be present for this special private screening. Gifts and snacks will be distributed to all the children present at the event. On the day of Makar Sankranti, God Sun pays visit to the house of his son Shani who is the swami of makara Rashi. Owing to the vast geography and diversity of culture in India, this festival is celebrated for innumerable reasons and in innumerable ways depending on the climate, agricultural environment, cultural background and location. On this day children fly kites across India.

Jagrut Distributes 410 Aadhaar Card to Vile Parle citizens in these 8 days!


Jagrut did an AADHAAR CARD Printing and Distribution Campaign from 2nd to 9th January 2014. We would like to thank all of you for your overwhelming response and support for the same. We have printed and distributed 410 Aadhaar Card to Vile Parle citizens in these 8 days.

Jagrut helps the citizens with its Aadhaar Card Printing and Distribution Campaign


Aadhaar is a 12 digit individual identification number issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India on behalf of the Government of India. This number will serve as a proof of identity and address, anywhere in India. Any individual, irrespective of age and gender, who is a resident in India and satisfies the verification process laid down by the UIDAI can enroll for Aadhaar.
Jagrut has helped hundreds of citizens who have applied for their Aadhaar Card, but have not yet received it, to print their card from the Jagrut office free of cost.

Aadhaar Card Printing and Distribution Campaign was kicked off today by Jagrut.


If you or any of your family member have applied for the card on or before 1st of November 2013, you can come with your Aadhaar Enrolment Receipt and get your card printed at the Jagrut Compound, Azad Road, Near Milan Subway, Vile Parle (E) from 10.00 AM to 5.00 PM.
