Jagrut honours its promise of Free Cataract Operations for the needy detected in the health camp of December.

JAGRUT had done a Medical Camp on Saturday, 14^th December 2013.  In computerized Eye Testing 49 persons were detected for Cataract. We immediately organized a FREE cataract operations for all of them at Kenia Eye Hospital at Santa Cruz (West), Mumbai. The operations were done by latest laser technique and good quality lenses were provided. The operation was done in batches of 5 patients each per day. We hope to share the joy of living with one and all.

Jagrut accomplished a Disability Camp, initiated and supported by Smt. Priya Dutt ji (MP) on 28th January 2014 in which 1429 assistance items were distributed to the needy.

Jagrut did a Disability Camp which was initiated and supported by Smt. Priya Dutt ji (MP) on 28^th January 2014. This camp was especially for those handicap people who could not afford to buy expenses equipments like Hearing Aids, Wheel Chairs, Walking Sticks, Calipers and Braille Slates. All these equipments were distributed FREE of cost to them.

Jagrut received a tremendous response for this camp! We distributed 672 Hearing Aids to the deaf,  and another 749 items which include Wheel Chairs to those who were completely handicap, Walking Sticks to senior citizens, Calipers to polio affected persons and Braille Slates to the blind. Fabrication Items like Crutches were given to 8 people. In all we distributed 1429 assistance items. Jagrut is extremely committed to such events regularly so that more and more people can be benefitted from it.
