Religious camp for children at Vile Parle Shwetambar Murtipujak SanghOrganised by Jagrut in presence of Kirti Darshan Vijayji Maharaj

Jagrut a social charitable organization under the leadership of Shri Narendra Hirani – President, and with the blessing of Kirti Darshan Vijayji Maharaj organized a religious camp for children (Asta Prakar Puja) at Vileparle Shewtambar Murtipujak Sangh on Saturday, 15th May 2010.

 

In today’s, globalization the most affected is our Youth. Depression or panic disorder, criminal tendency and suicidal attitude are seen in most of them. Jagrut feels that this is because our children are slowly forgetting their culture & rituals which helps them to maintain peace of mind.

 

To address this problem Jagrut organized with Kirti Darshan Vijayji Maharaj a camp to guide, bless and teach Human Values to these children.

Religious Trip to Talegaon for children of Vile Parle Shwetambar Murtipujak Sangh on Sunday, 4th July 2010

Jagrut a social charitable organization under the leadership of Shri Narendra Hirani – President, with the blessings of Vile Parle Shwetambar Murtipujak Sangh organized a religious trip for children on Sunday, 4th July 2010.




It was more than a trip for pleasure, which was combined with religious programmes for children. With religious teachings from the Maharaj ji, there were various games and prizes for the children.

Cancer Awareness, Detection and Medical Camp for Women on 26th June 2010 at Brivali and 3rd July 2010 at Vile Parle

        Jagrut a social charitable organization under the leadership of Shri Narendra Hirani - President in association with Shree Suntar Jain Sangh (Mahila Vibhag) organised a Free Cancer Detection & Medical Camp on 26th June 2010 at Probhodhan Thackeray Hall, 3rd Floor, Chamuda Circle, Borivali (W), & on 3rd July 2010 at Navinbhai Thakkar Hall, Vile Parle (E), Mumbai.


        These camps started at 9 a.m. and lasted upto 1 p.m. These camps were a very huge success as more than 124 ladies & 150 ladies respectively at both the camps were examined. All test where conducted by Mahavir International, Mumbai. Dr. Chhajed Medical Foundation. Convener: Medical Cell Mumbai Regional Congress Committee. There were many checkups and tests for the women eg. ECG, Diabetes, Computerised Eye Checkup, Blood Group Type Checkup, Calcium Checkup, B12 Blood Checkup, Blood Pressure Checkup, Weight Checkup, Accupressure & Accupuncture treatment & guidance. In the end Eye Glasses’ Frames were distributed to the ladies free of cost.


Women from all walks of life irrespective of caste and creed came for the drive acknowledging the important of Women Empowerment.


        Rakesh Kothari, a friend and well wisher of Shri Narendra Hirani - President Jagrut, was kind enough to donate an Ambulance to Jagrut on this special occasion.


        The President and his team members would like to thank Shree Suntar Jain Sangh (Mahila Vibhag), and Mahavir International, Mumbai. Dr. Chhajed Medical Foundation and all the ladies for coming in large numbers and making this Cancer Detection Camp & Medical Camp a tremendous success.

Jagrut a social charitable organization under the leadership of Shri Narendra Hirani – President, sponsored the Felicitations of Mr. Vivek Oberoi (Actor) & Mr. Krishna Hegde (MLA), organised by Mithibai Ex-Students Association, at Mithibai College, Vile Parle (W) on Sunday 28th February 2010


Mr. Vivek Oberoi and Mr. Krishna Hegde were happy to be amongst their batchmates and enjoyed a relaxed evening. Shri Vivek Oberoi was felicitated by Shri Bappi Lahiri. Shri Krishna Hegde, on the other hand, was happy to be felicitated by his good friend and childhood idol, former India all-rounder Shri Karsan Ghavri.



Awesome live performances by music director Sajid-Wajid rocked the evening. Also, among 100 odd guest were Actress Bhagyashree and Himalay, director Neeraj Vora & former Mumbai cricket captain Amol Mazumdar.

Cricket Tournament was organized on 14th february 2010 in memory of Shaheed Capt. Vinayak Gore at Vile Parle Tilak Vidhalya Maidan

Jagrut a social charitable organization under the leadership of Shri Narendra Hirani – President, organised a Cricket Touranment in memory of Shaheed Capt. Vinayak Gore, at Parle Tilak Vidyalaya, Hanuman Road, Vile Parle (E) on Sunday14th February 2010
 


Jagrut believes that all soldiers who serve their country and put their lives at risk need to know that if something happens to them, their families will be well taken care of. That is the bond we have with our military men and women and their families.



The Chief Guest was Anuradhatai Gore (mother of Capt. Vinayak Gore), and was fully supported by Shri Krishna Hegde (MLA).



The tournament was a very big success where 16 teams from all over Mumbai participated. The final match was played on Sunday, 14th February 2010, followed by the prize distribution.


           The winning team received a trophy and cash prize of Rs. 99999 and runner’s up received a trophy and cash prize of Rs. 49999. There were other prizes for Man of the Match, Man of the Series & Best All-Rounder.






Blood Donation Drive held on 13th December 2009 at Parle Tilak Vidyala, Hanuman Road, Vile Parle (E), Mumbai.

Jagrut is a social charitable organization under the leadership of Shri Narendra Hirani – President. Jagrut organized a blood donation camp at Parle Tilak Vidyala, Hanuman Road, Vile Parle (E), on Sunday 13th December 2009.




This camp started at 8 a.m. and lasted till 5 p.m. The camp was a very good success as more than 250 bottles of blood were collected. This being the first event of Jagrut Charitable Trust, the collection of more than 250 bottles was really praiseworthy. People from all walks of life, irrespective of caste and creed came for donation acknowledging the importance of blood donation.



This effort was endorsed by Hon’ble Smt. Priya Dutt (MP), Shri Kripashankar Singh (MLA), President MRCC, and Shri Krishna Hegde (MLA)



Jagrut is on the move and its next project will be a medical camp for the poor and marginalized. This camp was held in association with Nargis Dutt Memorial Foundation.

Jagrut Organised Free Drawing Competition





15th AUGUST 2013, INDEPENDANCE DAY, Jagrut Organised  a Free Drawing Competition at Shree Vile Parle Shwetambar Murtipujak Jain Sangh and Charities, (Vile Parle East.)

375 students from the Jain Samaj participated in the event. The guest of Honor was Smt. Priya Duttji (MP). Other Guest were TAPU SENA of the serial Tarak Mehta Ka Ulta Chasma.
