Cricket Tournament was organized on 14th february 2010 in memory of Shaheed Capt. Vinayak Gore at Vile Parle Tilak Vidhalya Maidan

Jagrut a social charitable organization under the leadership of Shri Narendra Hirani – President, organised a Cricket Touranment in memory of Shaheed Capt. Vinayak Gore, at Parle Tilak Vidyalaya, Hanuman Road, Vile Parle (E) on Sunday14th February 2010
 


Jagrut believes that all soldiers who serve their country and put their lives at risk need to know that if something happens to them, their families will be well taken care of. That is the bond we have with our military men and women and their families.



The Chief Guest was Anuradhatai Gore (mother of Capt. Vinayak Gore), and was fully supported by Shri Krishna Hegde (MLA).



The tournament was a very big success where 16 teams from all over Mumbai participated. The final match was played on Sunday, 14th February 2010, followed by the prize distribution.


           The winning team received a trophy and cash prize of Rs. 99999 and runner’s up received a trophy and cash prize of Rs. 49999. There were other prizes for Man of the Match, Man of the Series & Best All-Rounder.
