Cancer Awareness, Detection and Medical Camp for Women on 26th June 2010 at Brivali and 3rd July 2010 at Vile Parle

        Jagrut a social charitable organization under the leadership of Shri Narendra Hirani - President in association with Shree Suntar Jain Sangh (Mahila Vibhag) organised a Free Cancer Detection & Medical Camp on 26th June 2010 at Probhodhan Thackeray Hall, 3rd Floor, Chamuda Circle, Borivali (W), & on 3rd July 2010 at Navinbhai Thakkar Hall, Vile Parle (E), Mumbai.

        These camps started at 9 a.m. and lasted upto 1 p.m. These camps were a very huge success as more than 124 ladies & 150 ladies respectively at both the camps were examined. All test where conducted by Mahavir International, Mumbai. Dr. Chhajed Medical Foundation. Convener: Medical Cell Mumbai Regional Congress Committee. There were many checkups and tests for the women eg. ECG, Diabetes, Computerised Eye Checkup, Blood Group Type Checkup, Calcium Checkup, B12 Blood Checkup, Blood Pressure Checkup, Weight Checkup, Accupressure & Accupuncture treatment & guidance. In the end Eye Glasses’ Frames were distributed to the ladies free of cost.

Women from all walks of life irrespective of caste and creed came for the drive acknowledging the important of Women Empowerment.

        Rakesh Kothari, a friend and well wisher of Shri Narendra Hirani - President Jagrut, was kind enough to donate an Ambulance to Jagrut on this special occasion.

        The President and his team members would like to thank Shree Suntar Jain Sangh (Mahila Vibhag), and Mahavir International, Mumbai. Dr. Chhajed Medical Foundation and all the ladies for coming in large numbers and making this Cancer Detection Camp & Medical Camp a tremendous success.
